MITCHAM MEANS BUSINESS - CASE STUDY CAROLINE LASHLEY
Suffering the misfortune of a burglary in 2007, she not only lost essential equipment but years of information and contacts. Not one to let adversity stand in the way, Caroline was spurred on and refocused her energy, using the advice and workshops at Mitcham Means business to bring her back to the basics of business planning and creating a structure from which to relaunch. The rapidly progressive world of IT has meant a virtual office provides a cost effective but professional way of working. Bulletpoint PR Training provides editorial and journalism services and consultancy to small businesses, encouraging them to use a consistent approach to PR. Currently Caroline has several projects underway including a monthly magazine called Sister Business UK. Negotiations are also underway with The British Library. Caroline has enthusiastically supported the Mitcham Means Business project attending workshops, networking groups and often popping in to the office to discuss new ideas and leave any useful information for other entrepreneurs to read. She is committed to encouraging Mitcham residents in their business activities and particularly in helping Women reach their business goals. Bulletpoint PR Training |
