Better than Carbon Zero – why you’ll be greener!
Green Mobile provide ‘free’ better than carbon zero offset for business customers in 2 distinct ways:
1. Businesses swapping over to Green Mobile have all CO2 associated with making landline and mobile calls offset for free. How?
• Green Mobile source landline and mobile minutes from the UK’s greenest network who use modern ‘soft-switches’ that use much less power than other networks. The network’s entire carbon footprint is also offset using recognised certification.
2. Businesses that support the World Land Trust, via Green Mobile, can opt for free additional carbon offset. How?
• Green Mobile donates 4% of business customers ongoing bills (at no cost to the customer) to their charity partners
• The World Land Trust (WLT) use your donation to provide ongoing carbon offset
• Customers billing just £10 per month get an additional ongoing offset of 0.3 tonne of CO2 per year
• £15 mobile donation offsets approximately 1 tonne of CO2
Green Mobile’s other charity partners are the Friends of the Earth and the Environmental Investigation Agency. Customers can choose to support these charities but will not be eligible for additional carbon offset.
